A Dream that never was - Faiza

Sometimes we dream, just dream with our eyes wide open.

We are not wise enough to think that it may never come true.

But we love it so much, we want it to to be true...

And so we keep on dreaming and sometimes start living the dream.

But as is the case with all dreams, eyes shut or open,

They end!

So has mine ended.....

Living in dreams has ended, the best part of this is,

As an after-effect, i have become sleepless, an insomniac..

No dreams no sleep,

Just me and my memories of those dreams....

Cant complain though,

I like what i dreamt, I loved what I was in those dreams....

Which was way too far from the fact.

And now i dont wanna sleep, for im scared that i will dream again.

My eyes have opened to the reality.

I learned the hard way, but I learned.

You get punished for dreaming!

So accept the facts and live on.
